Barangay Calog Norte

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Calog Norte is one of the administrative divisions of Abulug in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Calog Norte had a population of 1,037. This made it the 16th largest of 20 barangays in Abulug by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calog Norte accounted for approximately 3.00% of the total population of Abulug, which stood at 34,579 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 902 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,037 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +15.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Calog Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Abulug is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calog Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
