About the service
Barangay Directory is an independent, free directory of Philippine barangays. We are not affiliated with the Philippine government, any government agency, COMELEC, or any political party or candidate.
Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to keep barangay data accurate and up-to-date, but we make no warranties as to completeness or correctness. Information may be outdated, especially after barangay elections. Always verify critical details (contact numbers, office hours, current officials) directly with the barangay before relying on them.
User submissions
By submitting information to Barangay Directory (corrections, updates, listings) you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish that information on the site. You represent that you have the right to share the information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any submission for any reason, including but not limited to inaccuracy, spam, defamation, or violation of these terms.
Prohibited uses
- Scraping or bulk-downloading the site without written permission
- Using the data for spam, harassment, or unsolicited commercial messaging
- Submitting false, defamatory, or unlawful information
- Attempting to access non-public areas or interfere with site security
- Reproducing significant portions of the site without attribution
Intellectual property
The site design, code, and original written content are owned by Barangay Directory. Underlying barangay names and geographic codes are public information.
Advertising
The site displays advertising. Sponsored content is clearly labelled. Inclusion in the directory does not constitute endorsement of any business, candidate, or political party. We accept advertising from all eligible parties on equal terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Barangay Directory is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
