Barangay Pinantan Diel

Barangay Pinantan Diel is a small barangay in the municipality of Ajuy, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pinantan Diel had a population of 830. This made it the 25th largest of 34 barangays in Ajuy by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinantan Diel accounted for approximately 1.55% of the total population of Ajuy, which stood at 53,462 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 612 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 830 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +35.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Pinantan Diel is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
