Barangay Hupit

Situated in Alangalang, Leyte, Barangay Hupit is one of 54 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

This made it the 34th largest of 54 barangays in Alangalang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Hupit changed from 719 to 788, a shift of +9.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Alangalang.
