Barangay Milagrosa (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Milagrosa (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Alangalang in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Milagrosa (Pob.) had a population of 1,096. This made it the 20th largest of 54 barangays in Alangalang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Milagrosa (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.92% of the total population of Alangalang, which stood at 57,185 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,133 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,096 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.3%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Milagrosa (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
