Barangay Upli

Barangay Upli is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Alfonso, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Upli had a population of 2,520. This made it the 4th largest of 32 barangays in Alfonso by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Upli accounted for approximately 4.25% of the total population of Alfonso, which stood at 59,306 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Upli moving from 1,864 residents to 2,520 residents, an intercensal change of +35.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Upli as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
