Barangay Dalawa

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Dalawa is one of the administrative divisions of Alilem in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dalawa had a population of 1,421. This made it the 2nd largest of 9 barangays in Alilem by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dalawa accounted for approximately 19.30% of the total population of Alilem, which stood at 7,361 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,241 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,421 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +14.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Dalawa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
