Barangay Buho

Situated in Amadeo, Cavite, Barangay Buho is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Buho had a population of 1,704. This made it the 11th largest of 26 barangays in Amadeo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buho accounted for approximately 4.07% of the total population of Amadeo, which stood at 41,901 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Buho changed from 1,495 to 1,704, a shift of +14.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Amadeo. Barangay Buho is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Amadeo is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Buho, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
