Barangay Centro I (Pob.)

Barangay Centro I (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Angadanan, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Centro I (Pob.) had a population of 1,284. This made it the 7th largest of 59 barangays in Angadanan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Centro I (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.85% of the total population of Angadanan, which stood at 44,977 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Centro I (Pob.) changed from 1,437 to 1,284, a shift of -10.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Angadanan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Centro I (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Angadanan is a municipality comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Centro I (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
