Barangay Dalakip

Barangay Dalakip forms part of Angadanan, a municipality in Isabela, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dalakip had a population of 899. This made it the 19th largest of 59 barangays in Angadanan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dalakip accounted for approximately 2.00% of the total population of Angadanan, which stood at 44,977 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dalakip changed from 785 to 899, a shift of +14.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Angadanan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dalakip as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Angadanan is a municipality comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dalakip, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Isabela, which contains 1,055 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Dalakip ranks 707th by 2020 population.
