Barangay Malasin

Barangay Malasin is a very small barangay in the municipality of Angadanan, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Malasin had a population of 319. This made it the 53rd largest of 59 barangays in Angadanan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malasin accounted for approximately 0.71% of the total population of Angadanan, which stood at 44,977 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Malasin moving from 292 residents to 319 residents, an intercensal change of +9.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Malasin is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
