Barangay Rang-ayan

Barangay Rang-ayan is a small barangay in the municipality of Angadanan, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rang-ayan had a population of 1,099. This made it the 13th largest of 59 barangays in Angadanan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rang-ayan accounted for approximately 2.44% of the total population of Angadanan, which stood at 44,977 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rang-ayan moving from 1,021 residents to 1,099 residents, an intercensal change of +7.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Rang-ayan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
