Barangay Mahabang Parang

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay Mahabang Parang is one of the administrative divisions of Angono in Rizal, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mahabang Parang had a population of 37,882. This made it the 1st largest of 10 barangays in Angono by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mahabang Parang accounted for approximately 29.03% of the total population of Angono, which stood at 130,494 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mahabang Parang moving from 32,744 residents to 37,882 residents, an intercensal change of +15.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mahabang Parang as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
