Barangay Inayawan

Situated in Arteche, Eastern Samar, Barangay Inayawan is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Inayawan had a population of 175. This made it the 19th largest of 20 barangays in Arteche by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Inayawan accounted for approximately 1.07% of the total population of Arteche, which stood at 16,360 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Inayawan moving from 218 residents to 175 residents, an intercensal change of -19.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Inayawan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
