Barangay Domanpot

Barangay Domanpot forms part of Asingan, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a large barangay.

This made it the 1st largest of 21 barangays in Asingan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Domanpot changed from 5,728 to 5,455, a shift of -4.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Asingan. Barangay Domanpot is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Asingan is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Domanpot, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Domanpot ranks 67th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
