Barangay Baki

Barangay Baki is a very small barangay in the municipality of Aurora, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Baki had a population of 336. This made it the 43rd largest of 44 barangays in Aurora by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Baki accounted for approximately 0.63% of the total population of Aurora, which stood at 52,995 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Baki moving from 333 residents to 336 residents, an intercensal change of +0.9%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Baki as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
