Barangay Misibis

Barangay Misibis forms part of Bacacay, a municipality in Albay, and is classified as a small barangay.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Misibis changed from 1,007 to 1,198, a shift of +19.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bacacay. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Misibis as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bacacay is a municipality comprising 56 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Misibis, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
