Barangay San Pedro II (Pob.)

Barangay San Pedro II (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Bacarra, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Pedro II (Pob.) had a population of 585. This made it the 28th largest of 43 barangays in Bacarra by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Pedro II (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.75% of the total population of Bacarra, which stood at 33,496 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 597 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 585 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Pedro II (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bacarra is a municipality comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Pedro II (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Ilocos Norte, which contains 559 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Pedro II (Pob.) ranks 464th by 2020 population.
