Barangay San Roque II (Pob.)

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay San Roque II (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Bacarra in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Roque II (Pob.) had a population of 399. This made it the 37th largest of 43 barangays in Bacarra by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Roque II (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.19% of the total population of Bacarra, which stood at 33,496 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 352 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 399 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Roque II (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bacarra is a municipality comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Roque II (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
