Barangay Nagatiran

Barangay Nagatiran is a small barangay in the municipality of Bacnotan, located in the province of La Union, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagatiran had a population of 748. This made it the 25th largest of 47 barangays in Bacnotan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagatiran accounted for approximately 1.69% of the total population of Bacnotan, which stood at 44,388 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nagatiran moving from 676 residents to 748 residents, an intercensal change of +10.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
