Barangay Delabayan West

Barangay Delabayan West is a small barangay in the municipality of Bacolod, located in the province of Lanao Del Norte, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Delabayan West had a population of 615. This made it the 14th largest of 16 barangays in Bacolod by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Delabayan West accounted for approximately 2.52% of the total population of Bacolod, which stood at 24,367 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 596 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 615 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Delabayan West as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bacolod is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Delabayan West, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
