Barangay Sipacong

Situated in Bacungan, Zamboanga Del Norte, Barangay Sipacong is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sipacong had a population of 886. This made it the 14th largest of 18 barangays in Bacungan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sipacong accounted for approximately 3.21% of the total population of Bacungan, which stood at 27,639 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sipacong moving from 868 residents to 886 residents, an intercensal change of +2.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
