Barangay Zaragosa

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Zaragosa is one of the administrative divisions of Balasan in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Zaragosa had a population of 1,536. This made it the 11th largest of 23 barangays in Balasan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Zaragosa accounted for approximately 4.38% of the total population of Balasan, which stood at 35,064 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Zaragosa moving from 1,637 residents to 1,536 residents, an intercensal change of -6.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
