Barangay Ticad (Pob.)

Barangay Ticad (Pob.) is a large barangay in the municipality of Bantayan, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ticad (Pob.) had a population of 7,745. This made it the 1st largest of 25 barangays in Bantayan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ticad (Pob.) accounted for approximately 8.98% of the total population of Bantayan, which stood at 86,247 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ticad (Pob.) moving from 6,896 residents to 7,745 residents, an intercensal change of +12.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Ticad (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
