Barangay Causwagan

Barangay Causwagan forms part of Barobo, a municipality in Surigao Del Sur, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Causwagan had a population of 608. This made it the 19th largest of 21 barangays in Barobo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Causwagan accounted for approximately 1.14% of the total population of Barobo, which stood at 53,146 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Causwagan moving from 589 residents to 608 residents, an intercensal change of +3.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
