Barangay Riverside

Situated in Baroy, Lanao Del Norte, Barangay Riverside is one of 23 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Riverside had a population of 522. This made it the 17th largest of 23 barangays in Baroy by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Riverside accounted for approximately 2.11% of the total population of Baroy, which stood at 24,683 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Riverside changed from 544 to 522, a shift of -4.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Baroy. Barangay Riverside is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Baroy is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Riverside, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
