Barangay Catadman

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Catadman is one of the administrative divisions of Basilisa in Dinagat Islands, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Catadman had a population of 934. This made it the 19th largest of 27 barangays in Basilisa by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Catadman accounted for approximately 2.53% of the total population of Basilisa, which stood at 36,911 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Catadman moving from 975 residents to 934 residents, an intercensal change of -4.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Catadman is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Basilisa is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Catadman, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
