Barangay Hinampacan

Situated in Basud, Camarines Norte, Barangay Hinampacan is one of 29 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Hinampacan had a population of 792. This made it the 26th largest of 29 barangays in Basud by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Hinampacan accounted for approximately 1.75% of the total population of Basud, which stood at 45,133 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Hinampacan changed from 821 to 792, a shift of -3.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Basud. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Hinampacan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
