Barangay Dalig

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Dalig is one of the administrative divisions of Batangas City in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dalig had a population of 3,220. This made it the 34th largest of 105 barangays in Batangas City by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Dalig accounted for approximately 0.92% of the total population of Batangas City, which stood at 351,437 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,679 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,220 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +20.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dalig as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Batangas City is a city comprising 105 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dalig, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
