Barangay San Isidro

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay San Isidro is one of the administrative divisions of Batangas City in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 7,378. This made it the 15th largest of 105 barangays in Batangas City by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 2.10% of the total population of Batangas City, which stood at 351,437 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,560 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,378 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +12.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Batangas City is a city comprising 105 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Batangas, which contains 1,078 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Isidro ranks 54th by 2020 population.
