Barangay Santa Clara

Barangay Santa Clara is a large barangay in the city of Batangas City, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Clara had a population of 12,843. This made it the 4th largest of 105 barangays in Batangas City by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Santa Clara accounted for approximately 3.65% of the total population of Batangas City, which stood at 351,437 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Clara changed from 12,201 to 12,843, a shift of +5.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Batangas City. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Clara as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Batangas City is a city comprising 105 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Clara, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
