Barangay Katipunan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Katipunan is one of the administrative divisions of Bato in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Katipunan had a population of 468. This made it the 23rd largest of 32 barangays in Bato by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Katipunan accounted for approximately 1.22% of the total population of Bato, which stood at 38,505 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Katipunan moving from 442 residents to 468 residents, an intercensal change of +5.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
