Barangay Naga

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Naga is one of the administrative divisions of Bato in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Naga had a population of 587. This made it the 21st largest of 32 barangays in Bato by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Naga accounted for approximately 1.52% of the total population of Bato, which stood at 38,505 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Naga moving from 516 residents to 587 residents, an intercensal change of +13.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Naga is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
