Barangay Tinago District (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Tinago District (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Bato in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tinago District (Pob.) had a population of 2,459. This made it the 4th largest of 32 barangays in Bato by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tinago District (Pob.) accounted for approximately 6.39% of the total population of Bato, which stood at 38,505 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,418 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,459 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.7%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Tinago District (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
