Barangay Marina (Pob.)

Barangay Marina (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Binalbagan, located in the province of Negros Occidental, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Marina (Pob.) had a population of 1,963. This made it the 14th largest of 16 barangays in Binalbagan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Marina (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.75% of the total population of Binalbagan, which stood at 71,407 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Marina (Pob.) changed from 1,745 to 1,963, a shift of +12.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Binalbagan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Marina (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Binalbagan is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Marina (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
