Barangay Mainit

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Mainit is one of the administrative divisions of Bontoc in Mountain Province, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mainit had a population of 1,250. This made it the 7th largest of 16 barangays in Bontoc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mainit accounted for approximately 5.19% of the total population of Bontoc, which stood at 24,104 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mainit moving from 1,203 residents to 1,250 residents, an intercensal change of +3.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
