Barangay Sagay

Barangay Sagay is a small barangay in the municipality of Borbon, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sagay had a population of 1,466. This made it the 13th largest of 19 barangays in Borbon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sagay accounted for approximately 3.84% of the total population of Borbon, which stood at 38,187 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sagay moving from 1,255 residents to 1,466 residents, an intercensal change of +16.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Sagay is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
