Situated in Buhi, Camarines Sur, Barangay De La Fe is one of 38 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay De La Fe had a population of 1,450. This made it the 26th largest of 38 barangays in Buhi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay De La Fe accounted for approximately 1.78% of the total population of Buhi, which stood at 81,306 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,422 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,450 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.0%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay De La Fe is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
