Barangay Kalipayan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Kalipayan is one of the administrative divisions of Burauen in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Kalipayan had a population of 454. This made it the 47th largest of 77 barangays in Burauen by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kalipayan accounted for approximately 0.86% of the total population of Burauen, which stood at 52,511 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kalipayan changed from 454 to 454, a shift of 0.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Burauen. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Kalipayan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Burauen is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kalipayan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
