Barangay Villa Aurora

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Villa Aurora is one of the administrative divisions of Burauen in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Villa Aurora had a population of 609. This made it the 35th largest of 77 barangays in Burauen by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villa Aurora accounted for approximately 1.16% of the total population of Burauen, which stood at 52,511 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 628 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 609 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Villa Aurora as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Burauen is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Villa Aurora, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
