Barangay San Gregorio

Situated in Caba, La Union, Barangay San Gregorio is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Gregorio had a population of 1,215. This made it the 10th largest of 17 barangays in Caba by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Gregorio accounted for approximately 5.26% of the total population of Caba, which stood at 23,119 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Gregorio changed from 1,104 to 1,215, a shift of +10.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Caba. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Gregorio as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Caba is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Gregorio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
