Barangay Liboron

Barangay Liboron is a small barangay in the municipality of Calape, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Liboron had a population of 1,587. This made it the 5th largest of 33 barangays in Calape by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Liboron accounted for approximately 4.80% of the total population of Calape, which stood at 33,079 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Liboron moving from 1,453 residents to 1,587 residents, an intercensal change of +9.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Liboron is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
