Barangay Tinibgan

Barangay Tinibgan is a small barangay in the municipality of Calape, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tinibgan had a population of 714. This made it the 20th largest of 33 barangays in Calape by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tinibgan accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Calape, which stood at 33,079 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tinibgan changed from 685 to 714, a shift of +4.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Calape. Barangay Tinibgan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Calape is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tinibgan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
