Barangay Baclaran

Barangay Baclaran is a small barangay in the municipality of Calauag, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Baclaran had a population of 856. This made it the 29th largest of 81 barangays in Calauag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Baclaran accounted for approximately 1.19% of the total population of Calauag, which stood at 71,809 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Baclaran moving from 811 residents to 856 residents, an intercensal change of +5.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Baclaran as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
