Barangay Aglonok

Situated in Calinog, Iloilo, Barangay Aglonok is one of 59 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Aglonok had a population of 474. This made it the 54th largest of 59 barangays in Calinog by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Aglonok accounted for approximately 0.75% of the total population of Calinog, which stood at 62,853 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 609 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 474 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -22.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Aglonok is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
