Barangay Bobon 1st

Barangay Bobon 1st is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Camiling, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bobon 1st had a population of 2,627. This made it the 5th largest of 61 barangays in Camiling by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bobon 1st accounted for approximately 3.01% of the total population of Camiling, which stood at 87,319 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bobon 1st changed from 2,584 to 2,627, a shift of +1.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Camiling. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bobon 1st as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
