Barangay Haponan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Haponan is one of the administrative divisions of Caramoan in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Haponan had a population of 783. This made it the 34th largest of 49 barangays in Caramoan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Haponan accounted for approximately 1.51% of the total population of Caramoan, which stood at 51,728 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Haponan moving from 964 residents to 783 residents, an intercensal change of -18.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Haponan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
