Barangay Solnopan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Solnopan is one of the administrative divisions of Caramoan in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Solnopan had a population of 986. This made it the 23rd largest of 49 barangays in Caramoan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Solnopan accounted for approximately 1.91% of the total population of Caramoan, which stood at 51,728 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 913 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 986 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Solnopan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Caramoan is a municipality comprising 49 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Solnopan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Sur, which contains 1,063 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Solnopan ranks 729th by 2020 population.
