Barangay Bentangan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bentangan is one of the administrative divisions of Carmen in Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bentangan had a population of 4,437. This made it the 4th largest of 28 barangays in Carmen by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bentangan accounted for approximately 4.12% of the total population of Carmen, which stood at 107,603 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bentangan moving from 4,054 residents to 4,437 residents, an intercensal change of +9.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
