Barangay Puyat

Barangay Puyat is a small barangay in the municipality of Carmen, located in the province of Surigao Del Sur, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Puyat had a population of 1,318. This made it the 3rd largest of 8 barangays in Carmen by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Puyat accounted for approximately 11.25% of the total population of Carmen, which stood at 11,720 in the same census year.
